Bill H. Zhang
Bill is the Managing Partner of the firm and a trusted advisor on intellectual property, cross-border transactions, foreign investment and commercial dispute resolution. He advises global businesses, investors and technology-driven enterprises on complex legal and strategic matters across China and international markets. Before joining the firm he practised with leading Chinese IP firms and prominent international firms — Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner, and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre — and served as General Counsel for the China operations of a multinational corporation.
His practice spans foreign direct investment, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and market-entry strategy, alongside global trademark and patent strategy, technology commercialisation, licensing, enforcement and IP due diligence. Combining deep knowledge of both Chinese and international legal frameworks, Bill delivers commercially focused counsel that bridges legal strategy, intellectual property and international business operations.
Lynn Zhang
Lynn is a Senior Associate whose practice focuses on intellectual property, commercial disputes and cross-border business matters. She advises multinational corporations, technology companies, manufacturers and growth-stage enterprises on the protection and commercialisation of intellectual-property assets, dispute resolution and strategic business operations across international markets.
With an engineering background and extensive legal experience, Lynn counsels clients on patent and trademark strategy, portfolio management, freedom-to-operate analyses, IP enforcement and technology protection — coordinating international filings under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and managing global trademark portfolios through the Madrid System. She also advises on complex supplier disputes, cross-border contracts and supply-chain risk.
